JUNIOR HOCKEY INFORMATION

Roskill-Eden's junior teams cater for all players of primary and intermediate school age (years 0 to 8), who wish to play hockey for a club. All experience levels are welcome.

TEAMS

Team Trainings are either a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evening (dependent on team entries), 4.15pm-5.15pm at Action Central (indoor) or 6-7pm at the Mt Roskill Grammar School hockey turf. Games are played on Saturday mornings at venues across Auckland.

 

Players must be able to commit to both trainings and games. After teams and coaches are finalised, training days will be confirmed and communicated.

2026 MUSTER DATES

Musters for all teams will be at the Mount Roskill Grammar School hockey turf.

Please arrive 15mins before and bring a white and dark top.​​

We are offering two preseason trainings.

Come along if you are interested in trying hockey or freshen up your skills for the season ahead.

 

Tuesday 10th March and Thursday 19th March 4.30pm-5.30pm

MEMBERSHIP FEES

By submitting your child's registration to play hockey for Roskill-Eden Hockey Club, you are agreeing to all the player terms & conditions outlined in the below document and to pay the relative membership fees charged by the club.

 REHC Player Terms & Conditions

The club is a not-for profit organisation and memberships are critical to the on-going survival of the club. The membership fees that we request help to cover the following costs:

  • Auckland Hockey Association affiliation fees (90% of fees)

  • Turf hire for practices

  • Uniforms

  • Playing and training gear

 

Membership Fees are outlined below:

  • Membership fees must be paid in full by the first game of the season.

  • No Pay, No Play!

  • Fees are inclusive of GST.

Membership Fee payment is made via Play HQ at the time of registration.​​​

GEAR REQUIRED

All players must wear a mouth guard and shin pads to all trainings and games. Without these they will not be allowed to play.

​

Team shirts are provided for all juniors. These are distributed prior to the first game and collected in at the last game of the season. All players must buy their own Roskill socks (plain gold), navy blue shorts/skirt, hockey stick, shin pads, mouth guard and sport shoes.
